We are eager to serve your school district community
We are an innovative and value-driven learning center that wants to work with you to enhance the literacy skills of our students. Our staff comes with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in education, digital literacy and technology. We are eager to serve your school district, community and other stakeholders by creating settings that foster students’ understanding of the components between their lives and their environment. This encompasses global issues and gives them a sense of responsibility as global citizens. We help prepare our students for a successful life. As an author of 8 books, I know the importance of literacy skills and reading comprehension. Literacy skills help us to read, write, think (higher order critical skills), and listen. This promotes effective communication interaction.
What We Do
Literacy Edge is structured in a way that students receive tutoring, online assistance for those who attend online schools and after school care. We teach them additional skills in SEL (social-emotional learning skills), financial literacy, media literacy, technology literacy and information literacy. In these unprecedented times, I want to assist our students with academic recovery and support from the impact of covid-19. We want to support the excellent work that teachers are doing by providing additional engaging learning activities in literacy.

1- We are searching for a new home for Literacy Edge. We need 5,000-6,000 square foot building to allow us to grow and meet the needs of our growing student population.
2-We need funds to support our mission and our operational budget. To pay for equipment, materials, and teachers.
